Rumours and stories from down The Crappery
- Workers at Regal Rat Cannery have told tales that F&CC (The Food & Chemical Concern) who own The Great Crap Works are looking to move in on The Big Meat Trust who they see has a major concern with one of the few true alternatives to dog meat and one selling as a high class product. F&CC are not to be trifled with, they are not only rich but also have one of the most efficient armies in the city including a large mikefighter force. If they do take over that gives them a monopoly in the region and its said the Burgh would quickly be consumed in the F&CC domain.
- The Third Church of God the Architect has seemingly been displaced by the fast growing Shinning Sky. It's Burgh church is situated away from the main corner but a new Deacon is looking to expand his parish and retake the parishioners lost to the Shinning Sky. Missionaries are starting to be seen throughout the edgeward estates and slowly moving across the Burgh. It has been suggested a new church is to be located closer to Cannery Row which would upset The Mortal God Church as well.
- It has been suggested that The Disciples have connections with Daylight (criminal group of associated gangs) and there is worry among the other gangs that this may lead to a play for power.
- There is also rumour of Third Syndicate cells coming up canal from TCMA territory. These are high tech criminals.
- Someone, possibly identified as Third Syndicate has been seen visiting the head of T.U.R.D.
- Children have been going missing. There is a known push from the F&CC to obtain children as mikefighter pilots but they generally do not resort to actual kidnapping although their recruitment drives can be quite aggressive or maybe times have changed, especially if they have some new endeavour they'll need them for.
